Mathew Starratt

United States Marine Corps, Veteran Advocate at Berry Law

Mathew Starratt is a USMC veteran with a master’s degree from Liberty University. A recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal, and the Academic Achievement Award, Mathew’s own experiences fighting to get VA benefits show him how difficult the process can be. Mathew was encouraged by his own case manager at Berry Law to become a Case Manager. During his service with the Corps, Mathew was part of a team stationed in Charlotte, NC responsible for coordinating logistics and communication, allowing for the successful completion of all missions and deployments. The experience taught Mathew the importance of teamwork and a commitment to duty, which he brings with him to Berry Law. Working well under pressure, Mathew sees every day as an adventure, and an opportunity to help his fellow veterans get the benefits they earned. When not working in the legal world, Mathew is an avid sportsman who enjoys mountain biking, woodworking, and riding motorcycles with his wife. He’s also completed four full marathons, five half marathons, three mud runs, one savage race, and hates running, showing just how committed he is to a win!
