Taylor Wikum learned what it meant to serve heroes in his community when he joined the Colorado Army National Guard and worked as a forward observer and military police officer. Taylor served in the Army for 6 years. During that time, he helped out in a number of state emergencies, such as the 2013 Poudre Canyon floods. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Colorado Emergency Service Ribbon for his hard work.
Taylor knows how hard it is for Veterans to apply for disability benefits because he was in the Army. Taylor made it his goal to make this process easier, from the beginning to the end. His warrior ethos tells him to make sure that no one is left behind. Taylor stays true to these values by giving his full attention to each of his clients.
Taylor got his Bachelor of Arts in English with honors from the University of Northern Colorado and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law. Taylor knows how important it is to work hard and keep going, because he used to be the captain of both his cross-country and track teams. Taylor’s constant drive to be the best gives him the determination and stamina he needs to fight for Veteran’s disability claims and not give up until he gets there.
Taylor spends his free time hiking, biking, or camping with friends and family when he is not working hard to help his clients.
