Allison Schwach

Veterans Disability Attorney

Senior Counsel I

Allison Schwach is a Veterans Disability Attorney at Berry Law, dedicated to advocating for those who have served and helping them pursue the benefits they deserve. Having started her career as a Criminal Defense Attorney, she understands the level of commitment it takes to see a difficult challenge through. Throughout her criminal practice, she aided numerous juvenile and adult clients through our justice system, secured countless dismissals, and a Not Guilty jury trial verdict for a client facing prison time. Her work is guided by a passion for helping those who feel voiceless and a commitment to holding our government accountable.

Allison earned her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and her Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School. During her time in law school, she worked as a certified law student in the Wrongful Convictions Clinic, advocating for those harmed by our criminal justice system. She finds the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) a comparable being—far too daunting and difficult to navigate for those servicemembers it is meant to help. This understanding allows her to represent her clients both zealously and compassionately.

Outside of her professional work, Allison enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time outdoors, watching live music, and traveling to cheer on her favorite sports team—the Boston Celtics.
