Scott Luis is a dedicated veterans disability attorney who brings both legal skill and firsthand military experience to his advocacy. As a U.S. Army Veteran, Scott is deeply committed to ensuring that those who served our country receive the benefits they have earned.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law.
Scott’s decision to represent Veterans is rooted in his own military service. He served seven years in the U.S. Army as an Engineer Officer, beginning his career at Fort Drum, New York, where he deployed to Iraq with the 1st Brigade, 10th Mountain Division. He later served at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, with the 5th Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade. Through his service, Scott gained a firsthand understanding of the physical and mental toll military service can take, as well as the challenges Veterans face when navigating the VA system.
Because of this experience, Scott is a passionate advocate for Veterans. He believes no one who served should have to fight another battle to receive the benefits they deserve. He is committed to holding the VA accountable and ensuring Veterans receive fair and timely access to the benefits they earned through their service to this country.
Scott’s military honors include the Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, Sapper Tab, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal with Campaign Star.
Outside of his legal practice, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and their dogs. He is an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoys playing golf in his free time.
