Taylor Loy

Veterans Disability Attorney

VA Accredited Advocate

Taylor Loy is a passionate attorney at Berry Law who is dedicated to serving her clients and making a positive impact in her community. With a background in higher education, where she worked on grants and contracts, Taylor decided to pivot to a legal career to pursue her passion for advocacy. After earning her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 2021, she has been driven by a commitment to helping others and seeking justice for her clients.

Inspired by her father, who encouraged her from a young age to use her talents to benefit others, Taylorโ€™s path into law was a natural extension of her lifelong desire to support those in need. Although she is beginning her legal career, Taylor has already received notable recognition, including a Pro Bono Service Distinction in 2021 and an Outstanding Performance Stipend in 2023.

One of Taylorโ€™s most impactful experiences was leading a service trip to a reservation in North Dakota. This trip taught her the value of being adaptable and open to meeting the real needs of others, even when those needs differ from what was originally expected. The experience reinforced her belief in the power of service and strengthened her commitment to making a difference through her legal work.

Taylor lives by the motto, “Have grit,” a philosophy that guides her through both personal and professional challenges. Outside of her legal career, Taylor enjoys spending time in her garden, propagating plants and creating her own compost. She also loves experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, especially themed dishes. Additionally, Taylor is a devoted pet owner with two adopted cats.

Deeply committed to giving back, Taylor actively participates in community service, particularly focusing on supporting local schools and children through initiatives like school supply drives and backpack meal programs. She has also helped organize various community service events, including creating tie blankets for shelters and setting up little free pantries.

Taylor is known for her approachable nature and her unwavering dedication to her clients. She believes in empowering her clients to trust their instincts, even during uncertain times, when choosing the right attorney or law firm. As she looks ahead, Taylor is focused on continuing to grow as an attorney and developing her skills in mediation to better serve her clientsโ€™ needs.

With her dedication to service, her focus on justice, and her commitment to personal and professional growth, Taylor Loy is a valuable member of the Berry Law team and an advocate for positive change in her community.
