Taylor Finke is a Veterans Disability Attorney at Berry Law, dedicated to advocating for those who have served and helping them pursue the benefits they deserve. Taylor’s passion for law began during her undergraduate studies, where a class on copyright law sparked her interest in legal advocacy. Her experiences working with the Tenant Assistant’s Project (TAP) and witnessing the challenges her brother and grandfather faced with the VA deepened her commitment to supporting Veterans.
Taylor earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in May 2024. During law school, she was actively involved in pro bono work, receiving the 2024 Student Award for Outstanding Impact through Pro-Bono Service. Her efforts with TAP and the Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) focused on addressing unbalanced landlord-tenant laws in Nebraska, providing critical assistance to those in need. She also achieved success during her clinical practice by helping a client overcome a trademark denial through innovative legal strategies.
Beyond her professional work, Taylor is a creative and passionate individual who loves baking, writing short stories, and collecting shot glasses. She enjoys watching hockey—cheering on the Penguins and Lincoln Stars—and even takes a swordfighting class. A proud book enthusiast, Taylor owns over 300 books and has even created her own library system.
Taylor’s personal motto, “The Salvation of the State is Watchfulness in the Citizen,” reflects her belief in staying vigilant and advocating for justice. Her determination and passion for her clients’ stories make her a dedicated and compassionate advocate for Veterans.
