Thomas โT.J.โ Kroh understands the sacrifice required of our countryโs servicemen and women. Growing up in a military family with a record of service dating back to the Civil War, T.J. is the son of a military retiree and grew up around military culture. He became a Veterans disability lawyer to help fight the uphill battle that many Veterans experience when applying to receive the earned VA benefits they were promised.
โThe VA is a system that has very specific rules they donโt follow. Oftentimes the people making the decisions donโt know their own regulations. You need someone who knows the rules on your side. One of my strengths is learning and knowing the rules and knowing when the VA is not applying them correctly. It is as much about the regulations being applied correctly as it is about proving the facts of the case.โ
T.J. enjoys having Veterans as his clients because they have given so much for us and have earned their benefits. Employing a tireless effort to find creative solutions to every case and a fervent dedication to seeing justice done, T.J. believes that even the most difficult cases can be won with teamwork, determination, and creativity.
A self-described optimist, T.J. has vowed to do his part to help Veterans receive their full benefits. He values honesty and works to build trust between himself and his clients, encouraging them to get to know him on a personal level.
โWorking with Veterans is a passion for me,” T.J. said. “I genuinely care about my clients.โ
T.J. holds a bachelorโs degree from Benedictine College and a Juris Doctorate from University Nebraska College of Law, where he graduated with distinction. He received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for International Law and National Security Law, which goes to the highest-scoring law student in each class.
In his free time, T.J. is a Royals baseball enthusiast and enjoys fishing and shooting sports.
