Ryan McNew

Veterans Disability Attorney

Ryan McNew believes that those who have served our country deserve strong, informed advocacy when seeking the benefits they have earned. A lifelong advocate, Ryan has dedicated his legal career to supporting individuals navigating complex administrative systems and ensuring that disability claims are evaluated fairly, accurately, and with dignity. This commitment guides his work representing veterans in disability matters at Berry Law Firm.

Ryan earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law. Prior to law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Central Arkansas, providing a strong foundation in analytical reasoning and problem-solving that continues to inform his legal practice today.

Ryan began his career in private practice at a small-town law firm, in Springfield, Missouri, where he gained valuable experience in client advocacy and legal analysis. This early practice was followed by an extensive career in federal administrative law, including almost 20 years in the federal government. During this time, he worked in multiple areas related to disability claims adjudication, gaining in-depth knowledge of how claims are developed, evaluated, and decided. His expertise encompasses the assessment of medical evidence, the application of regulatory standards, and the procedural requirements governing federal disability benefits. This background provides a unique and practical perspective that informs his effective advocacy in veterans’ disability cases.

Ryan approaches each case with a disciplined, evidence-driven strategy and a clear focus on achieving accurate and just outcomes for clients. Drawing on years of experience within federal adjudicatory systems, Ryan is committed to providing veterans with informed guidance, thorough representation, and an unwavering commitment to fairness throughout the claims and appeals process.

Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family. When not advocating for Veterans, he finds fulfillment working on home improvement projects with his children to teach them about the importance of pride of ownership and self-reliance. He is also a dedicated Kansas State University Wildcats fan and attends as many games as possible throughout the season.
