Justin Bignell is a Veterans Disability Attorney at Berry Law with over a decade of legal experience. A veteran of the United States Army, Justin served from 2005 to 2010 as a Multiple Launch Rocket Systems Crewmember, deploying to Iraq and throughout East Africa. He separated from service as a Sergeant, bringing firsthand understanding of the challenges many Veterans face after leaving the military.
After his military service, Justin graduated from Washburn University School of Law and began his legal career as a prosecutor, where he developed a strong foundation in litigation and case analysis. During that time, he was also navigating his own VA disability appeal. Going through the process himself, and ultimately receiving a 100 percent disability rating, reshaped his professional focus and reinforced the need for advocates who understand both the law and the VA system from the inside.
Today, Justin represents Veterans in VA disability appeals at all stages of the process. He focuses on identifying errors, overlooked evidence, and inadequate development in VA decisions, working to secure the benefits his clients have earned through their service.
