Eddie’s commitment to veterans advocacy is rooted in personal experience. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran himself, he served from 2007 to 2015 as a Ground Communications-Electronics Technician and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. In 2012, he deployed to Afghanistan with the 1st Marine Division in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Having served, Eddie believes that veterans should not have to fight a second battle at home to receive the support and benefits promised to them.
Eddie is a VA-accredited attorney at Berry Law, where he focuses his practice on veterans disability claims and appeals at both the administrative and appellate levels. Recently admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC)—his first federal court admission—Eddie represents veterans before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, and the CAVC. He is dedicated to helping veterans navigate complex legal standards, challenge incorrect decisions, and pursue the benefits they earned through their service.
Eddie earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and holds a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia. He brings a highly structured, evidence-focused approach to every case, with a professional emphasis on building strong records and presenting clear, persuasive arguments.
While at BU Law, Eddie was a leader and advocate, serving as President of the BU Law Student Veterans Association and as an active member of the Latin American Law Student Association. His legal background also includes serving as a Student Attorney with the Immigrants’ Rights and Human Trafficking Clinic and interning in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. Eddie is proud to bring this diverse experience and his Marine Corps discipline to the service of Berry Law’s clients.
