20 Great Veterans Day 2017 Discounts and Deals

On November 11 this year, many businesses will salute veterans and active military personnel by offering free or discounted meals and drinks.

Proof of service is typically required. Many businesses will recognize a military uniform or ID Card as proof, but discharge papers, VA cards, and veterans organization membership cards can also be used to prove service.

The following are 20 great Veterans Day deals for veterans and active military in 2017. Unless otherwise noted, these deals are available in participating locations on Saturday, November 11.

Applebee’s
Veterans and active military can select a free meal, from burgers to shrimp to cavatappi, from a special menu on Saturday.

Chili’s Grill and Bar
Veterans and active military are offered a free entrée. The options include a burger, quesadillas, and chili.

Cicis Pizza
Veterans and active military will be treated to a free adult buffet on Saturday.

Denny’s – November 10
This one takes place a day earlier. Between 5 am and noon on the 10th, veterans and active military will receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit
All participating locations will offer all veterans and active military a free sandwich, side, and Big Yellow Cup.

Golden Corral – November 13
The restaurant will hold its Military Appreciation Night on Monday, November 13th, from 5 to 9 pm. During this time, veterans and active military will be offered a free buffet.

Granite City
Veterans will be offered a complimentary lunch and soda.

IHOP – November 10
From 7 am to 7 pm on November 10, veterans and active military will be offered free stacks of “Red, White and Blue” buttermilk pancakes with glazed strawberries, blueberry compote, and whipped topping.

Krispy Kreme
Veterans and active military will receive a free doughnut and a small coffee at all participating locations.

Lamar’s Donuts
Not to be outdone, this coffee-and-donuts chain is also offering a free doughnut and a small coffee to veterans and active military.

Macaroni Grill
All veterans and active military will be offered free spaghetti with meatballs.

Olive Garden
A free meal from a special menu will be offered to veterans and active military. Choices include unlimited ravioli, spaghetti, and lasagna.

On the Border
Veterans and active military will be offered a free Create-Your-Own Combo Meal with rice and beans plus chips and salsa.

Red Robin
Veterans and active military can treat themselves to a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries.

Scooter’s Coffee
A free small drink will be available to all veterans and active military on Saturday.

Starbucks
All participating locations of this coffee chain will be handing out a free Tall coffee to veterans and active military.

Tijuana Flats
Veterans and active military will be offered a free entrée on Saturday.

Sizzler
Three entrée choices will be offered to veterans and active military: a six-ounce steak, a Malibu Chicken, or a half-dozen fried shrimp.

Texas Roadhouse
Veterans and active military will receive a free lunch on Saturday. Lunch hours may vary; you may want to call ahead of time.

World of Beer
Last but not least, growing tavern chain World of Beer is offering a free select draft beer to veterans and active military on the 11th.
