FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Lincoln, NE –October 3, 2024 – Berry Law is proud to announce the addition of Taylor Loy to our team of attorneys. Taylor brings a unique blend of experience, passion, and commitment to advocating for justice, particularly for Veterans seeking their rightful benefits.
Taylor earned her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 2021 and is licensed to practice law in Nebraska and Iowa. Before transitioning to her legal career, Taylor worked in higher education on grants and contracts, honing her skills in compliance and regulatory frameworks. Her decision to pursue a career in law was inspired by her father, who encouraged her to use her talents to help others—a value that has guided her throughout her life.
Montana Crow, Veterans Disability Attorney at Berry Law, expressed her excitement about Taylor joining the team. “I am so excited to welcome Taylor to our team!” Crow said. “She is a hard worker and a persuasive writer that will benefit so many Veterans in obtaining their VA disability benefits. With her background in utilizing the CFR for grant applications at University of Nebraska Medical Center, her expertise will be utilized to maximize benefits for Veterans.”
Taylor’s journey into law is marked by her dedication to service and her commitment to making a positive impact in her community. One of her most meaningful experiences was leading a service trip to a reservation in North Dakota, where she learned the true meaning of service—meeting the needs of others, even when those needs differ from initial expectations. This experience reinforced her belief in the power of adaptability and service, principles she carries into her legal practice.
Outside of her legal work, Taylor is actively involved in community service, particularly supporting local schools and children through initiatives such as school supply drives and backpack meal programs. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her two adopted cats.
With her dedication to serving Veterans, her commitment to justice, and her focus on community involvement, Taylor Loy is poised to make a significant impact at Berry Law and in the lives of the clients she serves.
