The National Law Journal’s Elite Trial Lawyers recently honored Berry Law with an award for their efforts assisting Veterans who have been denied disability benefits. Berry Law was named the veterans Disability Rights Law Firm of the Year. The team at Berry Law is excited to be receiving such a prestigious award that reflects the values of our company.
The National Law Journal recognizes outstanding law firms for their work in all areas of law. Throughout the year, this organization constantly scans the legal field and takes note of law firms that are exceptionally successful on the national stage. Founded in 2012, the Elite Trial Lawyers award has been firmly established as a coveted award. Winners are invited to attend a ceremony in Miami, Florida.
The main criterion is that the firm has completed at least one significant case in the past year. A significant case means winning a major, high-stakes, settlement. This normally involves an outcome that significantly affects litigation strategy or the results in similar cases nationally. Firms should devote at least 50% of their litigation resources to plaintiff work.
