Cold War Service in Europe

Cold War Service in Europe

Many veterans don’t realize that they don’t need to have served during a time of war or in a combat zone to be entitled to disability compensation from the VA. Any injuries that occur during active service are compensable, and that includes injuries that occur while training. In addition, training accidents may result in other problems, such as PTSD. Service members who participated in Cold War service in Europe were particularly susceptible to various problems. Many veterans who were stationed in Germany suffered cold weather injuries after training in freezing temperatures. There were also a number of training accidents and deaths, which can lead to permanent injury or mental health disorders.

The attorneys at Berry Law are committed to helping veterans receive the VA disability benefits they deserve. Service members who participated in Cold War service in Europe, and need help with their VA disability claims can find it at the Berry Law.
