Today, we honor Ryan Hendrickson, a mission service hero and true embodiment of courage and resilience. Having served in the Navy, Air Force, and later as a Green Beret in the United States Army, Ryan’s 22-year military career is a testament to his unwavering dedication to service.

A Story of Sacrifice and Determination

Ryan’s military deployments included Iraq and Afghanistan, where he faced unimaginable challenges. In Afghanistan, he nearly lost his leg to an IED explosion. Despite the severity of his injuries, Ryan relentlessly fought to recover and return to military service. Against all odds, he redeployed to Afghanistan, showcasing his unyielding spirit and commitment to his mission.

A Decorated Hero

Ryan’s service earned him numerous commendations, including:

  • The Silver Star
  • Four Bronze Stars
  • A Purple Heart
  • An Army Commendation Medal with Valor

These decorations highlight his extraordinary bravery and the sacrifices he made for his country.
