The Army Veteran was granted service connection for various spine conditions, including lumbosacral strain and spinal disorders with ratings of 60% (reduced to 40% in 2019), peripheral neuropathy in both lower extremities with ratings ranging from 20% to 40%, and additional conditions such as erectile dysfunction and a back scar, all effective September 11, 2015. Special monthly compensation for loss of use of a creative organ was awarded from September 11, 2015, and Dependents’ Educational Assistance eligibility was established from November 26, 2018.
