The Army Veteran had their evaluation for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), previously evaluated as Unspecified Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorder, increased to 70% effective August 20, 2024. The evaluation for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), previously evaluated as Dyspnea (claimed as breathing issues), was increased to 60% effective September 3, 2024. Entitlement to service connection for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) was granted with an evaluation of 40% effective September 27, 2016. Service connection for Tension Headaches; Migraine, including Migraine Variants, claimed as Migraine Headaches, secondary to TBI, was granted with an evaluation of 50% effective September 27, 2016. Basic eligibility for Dependents’ Educational Assistance based on permanent and total disability status was established from September 27, 2016.
