A 70 percent evaluation for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) was assigned from October 29, 2009. The evaluation was amended to include traumatic brain injury (TBI) but continued to be rated at 70 percent disability, effective February 24, 2020. Basic eligibility for Dependents’ Educational Assistance based on permanent and total disability status is established from October 29, 2009.
