A 20 percent evaluation for lumbar spine degenerative arthritis from August 27, 2010, is increased to 40 percent from October 12, 2012, and a similar progression occurs for cervical strain with degenerative joint disease, starting at 20 percent from August 27, 2010, and increased to 40 percent from February 6, 2020. The evaluation for right shoulder trapezius strain is increased from 40 to 50 percent effective February 3, 2020, and the evaluation for left ankle/fracture disability is increased from 10 to 20 percent effective October 10, 2012. Service connection for left knee instability is granted with a 10 percent evaluation effective June 18, 2016, and entitlement to an earlier effective date for Dependents’ Educational Assistance is granted, with a new effective date of August 27, 2010.
