Lincoln, NE – September 26, 2024 – Three of Berry Law’s Veterans disability attorneys—Stephani Bennett, Montana Crow, and Orron Hill—recently attended the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) 18th Judicial Conference in Washington, D.C. The conference featured in-depth discussions on Veterans law, including insights from CAVC judges and their staff, other practitioners, and a virtual appearance by VA Secretary Denis McDonough.
Montana Crow shared her thoughts on the event, saying, “This is one of my favorite conferences to attend because we get to meet and connect with the CAVC judges and staff. Practicing on a federal level, we don’t always have those face-to-face interactions, so this conference is a great way to connect with them, as well as learn about the advancements and what’s to come in the law.”
The conference covered a wide range of topics, with presentations focused on upcoming changes in Veterans law, advancements in legal practices, and the overall goal of improving efficiency in providing Veterans the benefits they deserve.
Berry Law’s attorneys took advantage of this invaluable opportunity to gain fresh insights into the latest legal trends, network with key players in the Veterans legal system, and ensure that they remain at the forefront of changes affecting Veterans disability law.
