William Harris
Father, Husband, Veteran, Poker Ace, Attorney at Berry Law Firm
Will Harris has seen it all. From serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom to winning even the most brutal cases for his clients, Will knows what it means to put everything on the line for the sake of others. As a Veteran’s son and a Veteran himself, Will knows the definition of sacrifice and has witnessed how the greatest tribulations can cultivate even greater rewards.
A compassionate and strong defender, Will believes that his time off the battlefield is best spent defending those who need it back at home. He specializes in juvenile defense cases, protects clients against false criminal allegations, takes on cases against police overreach and brutality, and has a passion for advocating for clients in administrative-law and military-justice cases. Whatever the allegation, Will is eager to defend those in need and stand firm for justice.

Lifelong Dedication to Justice
Will has always felt a strong connection to justice. Will grew up knowing how his father risked his life for his country in Vietnam. Even as a kid, he loved watching the TV show “JAG” and admired the thought of helping servicemen in legal battles. With an admiration for service and a compassionate heart, Will followed in his father’s footsteps by serving his country and dedicating his life to legal justice. Today, he has an impressive military reputation and a formidable arsenal of law experience; he is a Major in the U.S. Army National Guard, for which he also serves as the Assistant Operational Law Attorney and Trial Counsel. He has also appeared before The United States Court of Appeals Eighth Circuit and the Nebraska Supreme Court and has successfully defended several court-martial cases.
Will’s experience in both the battlefield and the courtroom gives him a unique perspective about how vigorously he must fight for others. The key to justice, in Will’s eyes, is listening to his clients’ stories and believing them, no matter what is stacked against them. With determination and teamwork, Will knows that even the toughest case can be won.
When the Cards Are Stacked Against You
It seems fitting that Will is also an expert poker player. While some people might treat poker as a game of chance, Will sees it as an opportunity to enact a strategy and win. He’s won more than 10 poker tournaments so far, and he isn’t planning on stopping anytime soon. While Will revels in fighting for others’ rights (and refusing to fold), he also treasures time with his beloved wife and is active with his church through Awana. As a firm believer in compassion and generosity, Will also volunteers time to other nonprofits, including The American Legion. You see, even in his “spare time,” Will is championing for others and taking on seemingly impossible battles. It’s just who he is.
