Service connection for PTSD with alcohol use disorder and stimulant use disorder in full remission is granted with a 70 percent evaluation effective January 20, 2017; additionally, service connection for alcohol abuse and stimulant use disorder (drug abuse) is now warranted as related to PTSD.
